Hey all,
I just reached lvl 17 and am having a great time! However, I know
that there's only three more character levels I can gain and I've only
done the first three of the main quests and probably less than half of
the side ones.
I'm assuming I can install the expansions without impacting my
progress? Which one(s) should I start with?
Also, is the House: My First Laboratory worth the caps? I can't see
the usefulness of the Jukebox or Nuka-Cola machine since caps are
still not quite that plentiful.

Long before I reached 17th level I found I had far more caps than I
could ever use. I normally bought the theme and furnishings when I had
more to trade in then Moira had available in caps. I also saved a
fortune, and improved my weapons and armor far beyond what was normally available by building my Repair up quickly. Very soon I was able to
merge two weapons into one more valuable then their individual values.
I bought the add-on CD with Operation Anchorage and The Pitt and they
seem to work fine. I just ran through The Pitt with a character about
your level and he ran into some challenges, but nothing he couldn't
handle with some thinking. I am not sure about Operation Anchorage as
the time I ran through it my character already had power armor skill.
The first part doesn't require anything special but the end you are
wearing power armor and I don't know if the mod automatically takes care
of that for you.
Personally, I thought the Operation Anchorage was more interesting and I didn't like the end of The Pitt.
