During the song there is a question asked about whether or not the
authorities took/stole money during their confiscation process. I didn't
know the reference at the time, but it turns out that Afroman had his house raided a couple of years ago.

There are a couple of songs on YT about the "Adams County Sherrif" and how
they raided his house (on the grounds that he was a narcotics dealer and had
a human trafficing "dungeon"). During the raid, they apparently stole
money, ate his mother's cake, terrorized his kids (he wasn't home) and ...
this is a kicker... disconnected his security cameras after a bunch of
their deeds had already been recorded.

They found some marijuana but no narcotics and no human slaves.

What I found interesting was that "Adams County" is Adams County, Ohio, a
place I am very familiar with. He moved there several years ago. It is a
    very rural area.

You know how it is with rural areas...the authorities think it's their own personal kingdom.

Yes. I think that many urban areas are also like that, but the authorities there are able to cover it up better. Louisville and Chicago are two that
    come to mind.

well they have those cameras now. they have body cams, every house has a camera. they have dash cams. it's hard in urban areas i'm sure.

Most of what I am thinking of would be things they don't do in public.

In the case Sean and I were discussing, they were not in public but in a private residence. Once they found that the residence had a camera system, they disabled it. I dunno if their body cams were on or not.

Those are all things I would expect to happen in Louisville, just like they
    did in BFE Ohio.

I think any city these days ia capable of it. I know my city
government is crooked but they get away with it. My city's police
department is being sued about covering up
    rapes. https://tinyurl.com/3emufyyp (tennesseelookout.com)

Yes, it sadly is. Louisville, KY, up the road from me, made at least
national headlines after a snafu during the PGA tournament stop.

there's a story i heard about a couple of years ago, it was about a corrupt police dept and an fbi came by to investigate them. there's more to this article, btw.

for some reason they pulled him over and put him in the police car. it was a hot day. they jacked up the heat all the way and left him in the car.

he was saying he was having medical issues and begging to get out. they were total jerks to him and it was all on video. of course there were resignations and charges.

The DOJ has been investigating Louisville lately.
